DESCRIPTION

Very large and rare Prince Matchabelli clear glass 47 oz factice. A classic. Height is 21 cm with stopper. 17.5 cm without. Bottom is marked with Prince Matchabelli name. Only a few of these bottles were made and I don't know any others currently on the market. Metal gilt stopper.

A patent was filed with the US Patent Office, under the name of George Matchabelli, for a crown-shaped bottle with a cross stopper on October 5, 1927 and was assigned Design Patent 74,618 on March 5, 1928

Also, acrylic outer package to one of the later smaller designs of the Matchabelli crown.
