DESCRIPTION

One internal tray. Kunit with calender motif.

The inscription reads, "Kyauk Ka lacquerware by U Ba Yin." Kyauk Ka is located in Kyauk-ka in the Mon-ywa Central Burma. The style used in during the 1950s was oil based enamels (easier to obtain at this time) resulting in a  brighter color palette.
